The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the plans of the Russian Federation to remove the borders between Russian and occupied Ukrainian territories. The FSB plans to abolish the border zones in the Rostov and Voronezh regions of the Russian Federation, which border the occupied territories of Ukraine, as well as between the occupied Crimea and the occupied part of the Kherson region of Ukraine. This is explained by the alleged "inclusion" of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine into the Russian Federation. "Moscow is once again trying to pass off wishful thinking and replace the internationally recognized legal status with its own shoddy administrative decisions, apparently believing that it is enough to issue a relevant illegal order to appropriate the territories of a sovereign state," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said. In fact, this is another attempt to erase the border between the territory of the aggressor state and the territory of Ukraine occupied by it. We emphasize that no Russian law can change the legal status of Ukrainian territories... the Russian agency can move checkpoints, rewrite its own documents and redraw maps as much as it wants. As a result, the occupied Ukrainian land does not become Russian, and the internationally recognized state border of Ukraine does not shift even by a meter, - the ministry added
