The candidate will work remotely as a full-time consultant, contributing to a cutting-edge project involving the ADLINK Technology NEON-2000-JNX NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ AI Smart Cameras. ### Key Responsibilities: - Camera Integration: - Develop and implement software to interface with ADLINK NEON-2000-JNX cameras, leveraging the Jetson Xavier NX platform. - - Configure and manage various types of image sensors integrated with the cameras. - Image Processing and Encoding: -  - Develop and optimize embedded image processing algorithms to ensure high-quality image capture and preprocessing. -  - Implement encoding techniques to prepare images for streaming and further AI processing. - - Streaming Protocols: - - Set up and maintain streaming protocols (e.g., GStreamer) to deliver images from the camera to upper-level AI libraries. - - Ensure reliable and efficient data transfer over communication and LAN ports. - - Testbench Setup: - - Design and implement a testbench to validate the functionality and performance of the integrated camera system. -  - Conduct rigorous testing to ensure stability, performance, and compatibility with AI processing pipelines. -  - Collaboration and Documentation: - - Work closely with AI and software teams to ensure seamless integration with upper-hand AI libraries. - - Document all developed code, procedures, and test results thoroughly. - ### Required Skills and Experience: - - Technical Expertise: - - Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages. - - Strong understanding of embedded image processing, including sensor data handling, image capture, and encoding. - - Experience with streaming protocols, particularly GStreamer. - - Familiarity with the NVIDIA Jetson platform, particularly Jetson Xavier NX. - - Experience with Ubuntu, JetPack, and Basler pylon software. -  - Camera and Hardware Experience: - - Hands-on experience working with smart cameras, particularly the ADLINK NEON-2000-JNX or similar. - Knowledge of FPGA-based DI/O for real-time triggering. - - Additional Skills: - - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - - Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English. - - Proven ability to work in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with a distributed team. - ### Preferred Qualifications: - - Previous experience working with AI-focused hardware systems and integrating them into broader AI/ML pipelines. -  - Familiarity with additional image sensors and C-mount lenses. ### Why Join AI-Bridge GmbH? - - Work on innovative projects at the intersection of AI and hardware. - - Flexible, remote working environment. - - Collaborate with a team of experts in the field of AI and embedded systems.
