🔮 Change Default Shell 🔮
If you have installed Kali Linux, you recognized that the default shell is ZSH. Usually Linux use Bash but since Kali did an update, we have ZSH.

If you don't know which shell you are using, then you can just open a terminal and type :
echo $SHELL
The output will be (in my case):
/usr/bin/bash
To view shells which are available on your Linux operating system:
cat /etc/shells
# /etc/shells: valid login shells
/bin/sh
/bin/bash
/usr/bin/bash
/bin/rbash
/usr/bin/rbash
/bin/dash
/usr/bin/dash
/bin/zsh
/usr/bin/zsh
/usr/bin/tmux
/usr/bin/screen
To change shells we use the command chsh.
Let's assume we want to change to bash, to do that we type:
sudo chsh -s /bin/bash
If you are wondering why the shell hasn't been changed after exit and re-opening of the terminal, that's because our current login session need to be logged out.
So finally to apply changes, logout from your current session and login again, start shell and do the shellcheck:
echo $SHELL
