“whisper of heart” is so ridiculously loved by me. i love the mc and how hard she works, studies, writes all the time, trying to stay true to her goal. i like the love line, and they way books became a part of it in such a sensitive and touching manner ughhhhh

i almost forgot to say "happy women in translation month" to you all. sorry, but here it is, — my late post on WITMonth. когда у меня улучшился английский во времена университетского бакалавра, я практически перестала читать работы, оригинально написанные на английском и французском, и более не читала их на русском. но, тем не менее, важно затронуть тему и лишний раз написать еще один пост про программу. it's such a beautiful time, when people are being encouraged to read female writers' novels in translation, discuss them, discover new authors from various linguistic and cultural contexs and talk more about gender imbalance!!
