Pools in loans on Marketapp are designed so that the disbursed amount is tied to the floor price of the collection itself. This isn't bad, but how can one provide a fair loan for an expensive NFT? Who and how should determine this amount? A new feature, Loan Requests, addresses these and other questions. A Request is the second way to take out an NFT-backed loan: the borrower specifies the amount, rate, and term. Anyone can become a liquidity provider for a specific loan if they find the amount and terms acceptable. Once issued, it is the same loan contract as in the pool: repayment, NFT sale, grace period, and liquidation work identically.
