There are 2 variations of nvidia dkms to be installed. One each for open nvidia driver and proprietary nvidia driver. Users can commit a mistake here.

First decide which nvidia driver you want to install and use. Then select the nvidia dkms accordingly.

Open any app by right clicking on the app icon and use the discrete card option. Once the app is running check nvidia-smi whether the nvidia card is working or not.

Another possibility is that the nouveau driver was not properly blacklisted.

After install I run the command journelctl for debugg the error logs.I found that services are not working properly
