😨Researchers Quit OpenAI and Anthropic Over AI Risks Some researchers at OpenAI and Anthropic have resigned, accusing the companies of pushing AI development too fast. Former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon warned: “AI could wipe out humanity within this decade.” Anthropic alignment researcher Evan Hubinger estimated the risk at greater than 10%. This isn’t just about fears of “AI taking jobs.” The concern is that AI could slip beyond human control. The paradox: the very people studying AI safety are themselves afraid of AI. by 🏴Crypto Head

😱Update! We've made Listening test analysis even more useful. After completing a Listening practice test, you can now use the transcription to understand your answers in greater detail. When you click on an answer directly in the transcription, the platform will now show an explanation of why that answer is correct, helping you understand the connection between the audio, the information in the transcription, and the correct answer. This builds on our existing transcription feature and gives you another way to analyze your mistakes and learn from them, rather than simply checking whether your answer was right or wrong. 👍This feature is now available in Past Papers, and we're gradually rolling it out across all Cambridge Listening tests.
