Anomaly, @EOMIOUS's

The reason why I broke up with Anomaly? I cheated on him. Not once. Not twice. Twelve times. He found out about the first one and still gave me another chance. Then another. And somehow, he kept believing that I would change. Every time, I promised him I would. Every time, he forgave me. Until there was nothing left for him to forgive. The worst part is that I loved him the entire time. I loved him while I was hurting him. I loved him while he was losing trust in me. And I loved him even when he finally looked at me and said, “I can’t do this anymore.” I wanted to tell him that he was the only person I ever truly wanted. But I knew how stupid that sounded after twelve betrayals. So I let him walk away. Because loving someone doesn’t mean you deserve to keep them. And he deserved a life where he didn’t have to wonder who I was going to hurt him with next.
