Я ответил автору в Linkedin: I think the argument that AI will automatically lead businesses to massive layoffs is based on a flawed premise. We have seen similar fears before, going back to the Luddites, who believed machines would simply take work away from people. In reality, technology has usually changed work, increased productivity, and created new areas of demand rather than eliminating the need for human contribution altogether. The key mistake is assuming that businesses want to shrink. Most businesses want to grow: serve more customers, produce more, enter new markets, and increase revenue. If a tool makes people more productive, the logical business response is often expansion, not self-imposed contraction. Also, the economy is not just software, websites, and chatbots. People still need food, housing, clothing, transport, energy, infrastructure, healthcare, logistics, and manufactured goods. All of this requires real-world capacity. Right now, the real economy is showing the opposite of “too much capacity”: shortages of power, chips, memory, GPUs, and many industrial components. In some sectors, lead times are extremely long and prices have risen sharply.
