The first one is a modulus (%) returning the remainder when 3 is divided by 4 The second one is a floor division (//) returning how many times 3 can be divided by 4

The header will always show, but any operation you carry out will be directed to the values only. If you want only the values by force, you can convert it to a numpy array. Dataframes are like Excel sheets, it needs the header and index to work effectively
