Removal from the ChatCrawler index

ChatCrawler is a search index, not a source. Everything here was published in open Telegram groups and channels and stays there regardless of us. We answer for our own results — and we remove pages from them when there is a verifiable basis to do so.

Who can ask, and how to prove it

You are the account ownerMessage us FROM THE VERY Telegram account in question. Control of the account is the proof: nothing to scan, nothing to attach. This is the fastest route.

You own or administer the venueMessage us from an account that is in the administration of that group or channel. We verify the rights against Telegram itself.

You are a third party or a representativeA formal request is required: who you are, the legal basis you act on, the exact page addresses and what precisely is unlawful. Court decisions and orders from competent authorities are handled first and without further conditions.

What we do not accept

Anonymous lists of links with no statement of who is asking and on what basis. Bulk lists of other people's venues. Demands to remove content the requester has no relation to. A page address alone is not a basis — otherwise anyone could wipe anything out of the index, competitors' venues included.

What happens next

We check the basis and, if it holds, remove the page from the results, the catalog and the sitemap. The hiding is permanent. We keep a record of the request and its basis — that record protects us if the decision is later disputed.

What we cannot do

Delete the original in Telegram. It is not ours: the post, group or channel lives with Telegram and has to be removed there — through the venue itself or through Telegram support. While the original is open it stays available to everyone, other search engines included. Every index works this way: removing a page from results and removing it from the internet are different things.

If the venue closed on its own

Closed, deleted and turned-private venues leave the index as the crawler comes round — you do not need to ask.
