Vivo Y100 4G:

3. download PBRB from official site for 2nd devices
4. use bug Jaeger to flash but then failed
Xiaomi mi max 2:
1. turn on USB debugging
2. connect to main devices using type C to type C
3. flashing failed
note:
1. both devices have debug enabled and set usb to FTP or file sharing
2. rebooted 2nd devices to fastboot > recovery > apply update from adb before execute cmd
3. then it failed
4. main devices os is FunTouchOS 15 and 2nd is Pixel Experience 13 with it's recoveries
I would say that it depends on how you treat your devices.
I have been using foldables for 3 years now.
The only issue I had was the hinge of the fold 4 which was fixed for free.
And the screen protector needed to be replaced after long term use which the 1st replacement is free.
I had until not that long ago a Pixel 9 Pro fold which I kept with upmost care. I made sure it was always clean, specially the outer part of the hinge. I never took it to places like the beach or anything like that, keeping a separate phone for that. After about a year of having it, I spilled a bit of liquid over it, nothing crazy, but a bit came into the inner screen through the frame, so I just wiped it off without major casualty. But only then I noticed/realized that the inner screen was slightly scratched by something like pocket dust that had gone in while it was closed. Because of this, online 2nd hand markets refused to give it the best possible used condition tier and lowered it to the mid one, and I didnt want to risk replacing the inner screen protector by myself despite that I already had one from atFolix I think it was, and risking more damage. So anyway, I am fairly confident that even with upmost care they can and will easily damage despite constant cleaning and care
For me this wasn't even the worst part, it was the fact that I had the constant worry about the phone and not using it comfortably, I'd not say I regret the purchase in the first place but needless to say I'm not using a fold nor an expensive phone anymore for that matter
Honestly that sucks regarding having a liquid doing that.
Myself I do treat my devices with care but not like extremely.
I just changed some of my old habits of using a regular phone.
I do clean my phone from time to time like sometimes once every month or once every 2-3 weeks.
No no the liquid didnt do any damage thankfully, I only noticed the pocket dust whatever scratches that were already there before I started to clean it that time..
