Ouxylthese boxes aren't really md3e tho
Ye ye, I meant Material You as in the colours being picked from the system, then the app contrasts too much with the rest of the system due to it being black/white mostly

Not sure, something is weird about these material you colors
The top bar has a blue tint (from wallpaper?), the other ui not really as far as i can tell rn
linuxctAh hmm, I will check
Usually the problem with ai is that its not aware of all the newer md3e compose components because many of them are newer than the knowledge cut off date, but it roughly knows the general md3e style so it tries to create them from scratch

And sometimes it also comes up with components that don't really exist in md3e spec

I've seen this a lot recently, but i think the md3e guidelines actually expect button groups or tabs for this

These are a form of toolbar, you can see one in the examples here: https://m3.material.io/components/toolbars/guidelines
OuxylAi usually puts them at the top and uses them like tabs
Smartspacer used to have that but it predated them being added to the spec lol
Kieron QuinnFor two items I prefer the button group style, but it wouldn't work as a floating toolbar so really needs to be at the top like this
Yeah i think the spec expects these grouped buttons
