I cut the UV filter glass. An easier method is to install a tempered glass camera protector for the Redmi Note 9 Pro like this; it fits perfectly over the 1-inch image sensor board.
Parkerit's easier, but much worse
It is quite clear; we need to remove the glue on the underside.
Of course, using a piece of UV filter glass—or another type of filter glass salvaged from an old camera image sensor block—can yield better results.

It’s not difficult; simply make a straight score or cut halfway through the glass's thickness, and you can snap it to get a clean, straight break. I only use this for cutting or straightening edges that aren't quite even.

yes i use uv filter. that just demonstrates another material that is easier to work with, quite clear, and resistant to light scratches
