Yesterday on Monday night 8/17, we took a night train from Nairobi to Mombasa. It was a smooth Hussle getting to it, but we made it in time. 6 hrs later we were at the Mombasa terminal. Funny story, my Mom slept on the floor halfway through the journey 😂😂 She couldn't handle the straight up chairs, comfortable to sit on but had no reclining ability whatsoever. We rested at the Mombasa terminal for like 1.5 hrs and had to leave because the next train was coming. Anyways, we started getting hussled by Taxi guys coz they wanted our business. At first it was okay, but then they started to become annoying when we were done having breakfast...and after that Video call with you honey, a divine intervention showed up in form of a woman. She ends up taking us to our Airbnb, stayed with us as we tried to get to drop off our luggage. We couldn't really drop off our luggage early, so she knows the area, ends up showing us a nice spot to chill...and is keeping our bags now till we can check in in a few hrs. Happens to live 10 mins from our Airbnb...talk about blessings ❤️ Beautiful spot right by the beach!
