From what i know, which is a lot on cannabis, it's a medication for me i would be very sick without. First thing the strain of course, there are many compounds other than THC in cannabis and the balance is the most important. It acts on humans only because we already have cannabinoids receptors otherwise the body would just reject it as waste or toxin. The endocannabinoid system is a crucial part of the human body and the one that coordinates all other systems, we actually need this for the body to work properly and ignoring this whole system is one of the ways allopathic medicine keep medical students in the dark thinking humans just have a bunch of chronic diseases when the boy is actually just completely out of sync. So strains have different quantity of different compounds, THC, CBC, etc. and that changes the effects but mostly cannabis with like 30% THC and barely 1% CBC is not natural, it's out of wack and will throw off your neurotransmitters especially if not a regular user or if you have other imbalances already because of completely unrelated things. It can also be interactions with other things especially meds like antidepressant or SSRIs or even with toxins in commercial cigarettes. Most of what hurts us is multi-prong and really does damages when combined together. I always assumed it was a way to make sure the they don't kill themselves, tey just know what combinations to avoid. It's like a societal cheat code. Also some commercial cannabis is just grown with toxic stuff like pesticides, fungicides, artificial nutrients or even just by using bad municipal water. And don't think because you might not have prescription drugs you are safe, where they always get you is actually the non-medicinal ingredients which nobody ever thinks about. Its why random pills seen as safe like tylenol or gravol are still toxic, the very base material is usually TALC which of course is carcinogen and there are usually some form of paramagnetic metal like titanium dioxyde.
