In her first annual report as Special Rapporteur on Racism, she warned that racism is rampant across Ireland and recommended mandatory anti-racism training for the civil and public service, plus compulsory anti-racism education in schools. She also founded and runs the Institute of Antiracism and Black Studies, which sells that exact training.
