Germany Prepares to Strike Deep In Russia, Hopes Not To Get Nuked The German government is planning a major expansion of its military capabilities, seeking nearly €12 billion to develop a new arsenal of long-range weapons aimed at bolstering deterrence against Russia, Politico reported on August 21.
