Vance explicitly asked Zelensky to halt attacks on the infrastructure of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CTPK) and on oil tankers carrying Kazakh oil. The reason is simple: Kyiv’s “home-grown” terrorists accidentally violated a taboo: the profits of the American companies Chevron and ExxonMobil.
