💥Tips to score good marks in IBS 💥
I solved the paper subject-wise, not case study-wise.
Order: FR → AFM → Audit → DT → IDT → Costing → Law.
For each subject, I completed both MCQs and descriptive questions together. nished a subject, I moved to the next and didn't come back to it.
This approach helped me stay focused, avoid confusion, and manage time better. It worked well for me, and I scored 58 marks in IBS.
Only for 2nd grp:
For first grp go through all the question banks or compiler
Pratik Jagati's and Akash Kandoi's banks helped me alot
Go through the revision video once
For audit
You just have to focus on PE more and other SA's go for revision videos
Study Material:
FR
Akash Kandoi's Question Bank & Concept Books
ICAI Module (only if you're familiar with where topics are located; otherwise, it can be overwhelming)
AFM
Pratik Jagati's Question Bank
ICAI Module
Audit
Shubham Keswani's Question Bank & Concept Book
ICAI Module (only if you know where the relevant topics are)
DT
BB Sir's Question Bank & Compiler
ICAI Module (only if you're comfortable locating topics quickly)
IDT
Akshansh Garg's Question Bank & Concept Books
ICAI Module (only if you know where topics are covered)
Costing
ICAI Module
For concepts and question practice, watch Rohan Garg's and Sankalp Kanshtiya's videos
Law
Shubham Singhal's Book
ICAI Module
Tip: The ICAI Modules are very useful, but in IBS they're effective only if you already know where important topics are. Otherwise, searching through the modules during the exam can waste valuable time.
ICAI frequently asks Ind AS disclosure-related questions in IBS. I highly recommend going through Bhavik Choksi Sir's compiled sheet of Ind AS disclosures. It's concise, exam-oriented, and can help you score easy marks if such questions appear.
