You were here when D-GN first started, you should know by now the mods are real people as you did hop on a call to my previous knowledge but you do understand that if this was a performance the mods wouldn’t be here, nor I would be answering any of these questions…
No publicly traded company operates with the CEO personally managing social media instead of running the actual business. That expectation doesn’t reflect how real companies function.
If you’re looking for someone to entertain you in a chat, you’ve come to the wrong place. We’re a real company focused on operations, execution and delivering results. We’re not a meme coin or a social media performance.

As for updates, our communications on X will resume in August. We’ve been focused on building the underlying infrastructure first rather than prioritizing social media. We believe execution matters more than constant vague posts, and we’ll share meaningful updates as milestones are reached.
In the meantime, the moderators have been doing exactly what they’ve been asked to do by keeping the community active and answering questions where they can. Please treat them with respect. They’re volunteering their time to support the community and shouldn’t be subjected to unnecessary hostility.

We meant it when we said we’re playing the long game. While much of the industry is racing to build the AI application layer, we’re building the infrastructure and regulatory layer that future AI models and applications will depend on.
As AI regulation continues to tighten around the world, it’s reinforcing the thesis we’ve believed from the beginning: trusted AI requires trusted data infrastructure. The opportunity today is similar to the early internet and crypto cycles. Those who built ahead of emerging standards were the ones who shaped the market. From the countless lawsuits that have recently surfaced, AI is entering a similar phase, where building ahead of regulatory and infrastructure requirements will matter far more than simply shipping another application.

Moving forward, you’ll notice our X won’t be filled with memes like many token projects. It’s intentional. Our audience includes governments, public sector organizations and institutional partners. We’re building credibility with the people who make long-term infrastructure decisions, and want our communications reflect that.

I understand losing money is frustrating. We know where the token price is today, and no one on the team is happy with it either.
What we don’t control is how the market trades the token. Some people buy for the long term, others exit when they find another opportunity. That’s the nature of any liquid market.
What we do control is the work. We can either spend our time arguing about today’s price, or spend it building the company, expanding adoption and creating the foundations for long-term value. We’ve chosen the latter because it’s the only thing that ultimately moves the business forward and gives the token a reason to move in the future.
*For those who are new to D-GN, here’s a bit of our history.*
D-GN began as a project incubated within the DROPP ecosystem. It was originally developed to solve an internal data challenge for computer vision models and proved highly successful. That success is what led to DROPP backing D-GN as an independent company.
Last year, we released our beta platform. Like any technology company, a beta is never the finished product. Its purpose is to gather real-world feedback, test assumptions and iterate quickly.
Since then, the platform has evolved significantly based on feedback from our enterprise clients, partners and early testers. While we’re continuing to refine and improve it, the product, like our new website, has been redesigned for an institutional audience rather than a consumer one.
That’s an intentional decision. Our focus is on working with large enterprises, governments and other institutions that bring their own ecosystems, contributors and use cases onto the D-GN platform. Everything we’re building today is designed with that long-term vision in mind.

I also wasn’t aware of the mute feature until it was recently brought to my attention. Rather than allowing the conversation to become repetitive, I’d rather new members joining this community see discussions that provide clarity, context and education instead of the same debates being repeated. I think that’s a far more valuable experience for everyone.

After careful evaluation, I’ve decided to restructure this community. As D-GN continues to mature, the current format no longer reflects the type of environment that’s productive for the company, our holders or the enterprise, government and institutional partners we work with.
Going forward, this group will focus on official updates, educational content and meaningful discussions that provide value to our community. Our goal is to build a space that reflects the standards of the company we’re building.
