Ukrainian company Dark River Group has introduced a new drone-interceptor APUS, designed as a domestic analogue of the American Merops system and its AS3 Surveyor interceptor. Thanks to the forward tail and reverse swept wing, the drone is capable of reaching speeds of up to 300 km/h, staying in the air for up to 60 minutes and carrying a warhead weighing from 500 to 800 grams. The complex, consisting of a catapult, a control station and 10 drones, is serviced by only two operators and deploys in 15 minutes. The manufacturer plans to fully achieve functional compliance with the Western benchmark by the end of 2026.
