After months of testing One UI 9 on the Galaxy S26, Samsung has expanded its public beta program to include the Galaxy S25 lineup. As is standard practice, the One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S25 is currently only available in select countries. It will be expanded to other regions in the future with new updates. The 3.8GB ZZHL firmware includes the August 2026 security patch, as well as the full suite of One UI 9 and Android 17 improvements for Samsung’s 2025 flagship smartphones. Key features include increased flexibility in customizing the quick settings panel, improved DeX experience, and new accessibility tools.
In addition to the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, the S25 FE is also eligible to participate in the One UI 9 beta. To join the program, you must register through the Notifications section of the Samsung Members app, after which the latest beta firmware will be installed on your device via over-the-air (OTA) update.
