It's also a bit personal, I did apply for a position there and they told me I lagg the education. (I already work there in a different non IT section)
So I started writing my own version for every internal / external software they have with only two goals: Better UI and faster. Faster isn't hard, I never had to optimize anything ever, it's faster by default 😅 and better UI well I'm cheating and collecting feedback of coworkers using their software
