8/10/2026 -- Massive M7.4 (M7.5) earthquake strikes Colombia South America -- Seismic Unrest spreads
A very large damaging M7.4 (M7.5) earthquake has struck South America in Colombia.

Five days ago a deep M6.3 struck below the Kermedec Islands (North of New Zealand) prompting me to do a live youtube update livestream. In the live stream (not saved) the warning was issued to watch for a shallower larger earthquake up to 1 magnitude larger than the deep M6.3 to spread up out and away from the Kermedecs, bringing South America into the mix.
Additionally we now must watch New Zealand to the South and Indonesia to the West.
The exact antipode of this M7.4 in Colombia is Sumatra Indonesia! More on the antipode earthquake study here:

⚠️ Dutchsinse Update - August 10, 2026 (2of) - Colombia M7.4–7.5; Indonesia and New Zealand Watches
🌎 Summary – Global Overview
• M7.4–7.5 struck Colombia at roughly 100 km depth, with severe structural damage shown.
• Interpreted as the eastward response to the deep M6.3 near Kermadec five days earlier; new deep activity is cited for another increase this week.
• Main watches focus on Indonesia, New Zealand, the West Pacific, and LA.
🌋 Volcanic Activity
• Puracé: repeated 5,000–11,000-foot blasts; Krakatau: repeated 3,000–5,000-foot blasts.
• Tokachi erupted during the past week; Etna remains active; Sakurajima reached about 10,000–11,000 feet. Fuego, Santiaguito, and Popocatépetl were also cited.
🌪 Weather & Atmospheric Events
• Heavy wildfire smoke was shown across the western U.S. and Canada.
• Interpretation: many fires were said to cluster near volcanic fields; a speculative seismic-stress, subsurface-heat, methane-release ignition chain was proposed.
🌀 Geometric & Structural Observations
• Colombia was placed at the tip of an eastward transfer path from the Kermadec deep event; the M7.4–7.5 was described as about one magnitude larger after five days.
• The Colombia antipode was placed at Sumatra. Equidistant earthquake spacing across the Pacific, Europe, and Asia was interpreted as a standing wave.
📜 Historical & Social References
• The 2004 sequence was used as an analogy: an M8.0 south of New Zealand on December 23 was followed three days later by the Banda Aceh earthquake.
• A past M7.8–8.0 Kyushu quake followed next day by an upper-M7 Ecuador–Colombia border quake was cited as another example. Closing remarks referenced Nixon and Bohemian Grove.
🕰 Past Earthquakes – Older Than 48 Hours
• 🌐 M6.3 — Kermadec Islands; five days earlier, depth about 190–220 km depending on source.
• 🇻🇪 Near M8.0 — Venezuela region; a few months earlier.
• 🇯🇵 M7.8–M8.0 — Kyushu; several years earlier.
• 🌐 Upper M7 — Ecuador–Colombia border; the day after the Kyushu event.
• 🇳🇿 M8.0 — south of New Zealand; December 23, 2004.
• 🇮🇩 Magnitude not stated — Banda Aceh; three days after the 2004 New Zealand event.
📍 Current Earthquakes – Last 48 Hours
• 🇨🇴 M7.4–M7.5 — Colombia; about 100 km deep, major damage reported.
• 🌐 M5.6 — northern side of the mapped Pacific spread near the “Leviathan” marker; yesterday.
• 🌐 M5.6 — southern side of the same Pacific spread; yesterday.
• 🌐 M5.5 — western side of the mapped transfer zone; last night.
• 🇯🇵 M5.5 — northern Japan; current.
• 🌐 Around M4 — Europe/Asia toward northern Italy; described as equidistantly spaced, including an M4 there yesterday.
🔮 Forecasted & Expected Earthquakes
• 🇮🇩 M7-range — West Pacific / central-south Indonesia, Bali west toward Sumatra; another new seven warned within several days, with the antipode watch described as about a week or less.
• 🇳🇿 Large earthquake — New Zealand region; expected within the remaining several days to roughly one week of the Kermadec watch.
• 🇺🇸 M4.0–M5.0 — Southern California, LA Basin; existing warning remains, with up to M5.0 expected.
