Larry the Cat’s Favorite Foods Larry, the Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office at 10 Downing Street, is quite fond of a few special treats. His favorites include Dreamies, dry cat food, leftover turkey, and—occasionally—some egg and broccoli. Larry’s favorite foods: 1. 🐱 Dreamies Larry is particularly fond of Dreamies. They are such a beloved treat that staff have to keep an eye on his snacking habits to ensure the Chief Mouser doesn't overindulge. 2. 🍽️ Dry cat food Dry cat food is part of Larry’s daily diet and is provided by the Downing Street staff. 3. 🦃 Turkey Occasionally, leftover turkey is included in Larry’s menu as a special treat, especially on special occasions. 4. 🥚🥦 A few extras Egg, turkey bacon, and a bit of broccoli have also been included in his meals from time to time, with Downing Street staff keeping a close watch on portion sizes. These are some of the foods that the Downing Street staff carefully manage to keep the Chief Mouser in good health. It is remarkable how the care and attention Larry receives from the Downing Street staff have helped keep him in good shape over the years. Amidst changes in government, a succession of Prime Ministers, and the never-ending drama of British politics, Larry remains one of Downing Street’s most constant residents. Politicians may come and go. Governments may change. But as long as there are Dreamies in the cupboard, Larry doesn't seem to be handing in his notice anytime soon.
