Officer: “Mr. Larry, I’ve got thirty quid.”
Larry: “Oh, nice. And?”
Officer: “I thought I’d buy you some treats, sir.”
Larry: “For me? How generous.”
Officer: “There’s just one small problem, sir...”
Larry: “Go on, mate.”
Officer: “There’s just one problem, sir...”
Larry: “I get it. It’s about Dreamies, not a packet of crisps.”
Officer: “So what should I do, sir?”
Larry: “Go on, mate. Let’s go to the pet shop.”
Officer: “But sir... what about the Prime Minister? Surely I need permission to leave my post?”
Larry: “Don’t be daft, mate. The Prime Minister is the one who needs permission to stay here.”
Officer: “And then?”
Larry: “Exactly. Now pick me up and let’s go.”
Officer: “And after that?”
Larry: “Yes, of course. Now pick me up and let’s go.”
Officer: “Why are you shouting, sir?”
Larry: “There’s just one problem, mate. I’m about to turn into Dreamies before the Treasury notices.”
