you can want whatever you want. you can even want to fly to haiti for a vacation and obviously if you wanted to do that you did not know that you were likely to get robbed or killed there. if you didn't know that it means you either did not bother to look into it or you did not have enough iq to make the right conclusions that you should not go to haiti for a vacation. you have still accepted that risk whether you did it consciously or not and all the responsibility for taking that risk lies with you. the fact that you accepted the risk does not mean that the negative outcome should not happen to you. that is actually a contradiction. i would even call it a kind of natural selection. the same applies to this situation with hardware wallets. you may be right morally but that doesn't change anything and i'll tell you even more nobody gives a shit
