OmniXEP layer coin is XEP, there's no other coin on OmniXEP layer, only tokens. So staking is out of scope here, XEP staking continues on XEP staking wallet. If Jimmay is talking about soft staking of tokens then it's all about project owners to offer such feature, i know that Oysterwave token (contract #132) have a plan about soft staking platform
