❤️‍🩹 🕯 🇮🇹 ⛵️ Cinque Terre: Alessandro Besana (60), a father of three, collapsed and died during a boat tour on vacation in front of his wife. He was required to be vaccinated in Italy. 9.8.26 The tragedy occurred around 1:00 PM while Besana was on a coastal vacation with his wife, Maria Teresa Marcaccio, and a couple of close friends. After diving into the water from the boat, he suddenly fell ill. A doctor who happened to be nearby on another vessel was among the first to render aid. Onlookers immediately alerted emergency services via 112. Despite continuous cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) efforts that lasted for over 40 minutes, first responders were unable to revive him. Besana was highly regarded in his hometown community of San Tomaso Apostolo in Bergamo, where he was deeply involved as a parish and youth center (oratorio) leader.
