Three Engines and No Tail — What Is Known About the J-36 and J-50 On 26 December 2024 two previously unseen combat aircraft flew over Chinese cities in daylight, filmed by anyone with a phone. One is a three-engine tailless delta from Chengdu; the other a twin-engine lambda-wing from Shenyang with wingtips that swivel. Neither has been acknowledged by any Chinese official body.
