Antisemitic conspiracy theories blaming Israel and Jews for Spain’s migrant crisis reached an estimated 103 million people on X within 72 hours, according to an analysis by the Combat Antisemitism Movement’s Antisemitism Research Center.
The report examined 173 high-impact posts published after more than 50,000 migrants crossed into Ceuta, including false claims that Benjamin Netanyahu or Mossad orchestrated the mass crossing in retaliation for Spain’s policies toward Israel.
CAM CEO Sacha Roytman Dratwa warned that the scale shows how quickly inflammatory narratives portraying major events as “a Jewish conspiracy” can spread online.
