It's better to call the bridged KAS: Kasplex KAS or Igra KAS (iKAS) because there are 2 EVMs on KAS

Hi @argonmining I have a suggestion for the custodial KAS <-> iKAS bridge, what you guys think about adding the feature for users to deposit their KAS liquidity for the bridge while earning part of the bridge fee.
It will be a good usecase for people who want to put their KAS to work and will reduce the amount of refills the bridge currently experiences

It can work yes. We plan to put singed Igra State-Hash in special UTXO that will be additionally singed by all our attesters. This state-hash can be used for this.

Its a good idea for sure. The main concern was that bridge revenue is very low - its a low fee design for UX - so it may not be very motivating. But would probably get some interest either way so valuable. I'll add to the list to explore further, thanks

Yeah I am pretty sure atleast few community members would like to deposit good amount of KAS just to increase the UX for the bridge users by decreasing the frequency of bridge refills, regardless of income.

You can set it in a way that whatever the amount of the KAS deposited by a provider represents out of total bridge liquidity in % would be the % out of total fees paid the same provider gets

yeah exactly. I think it would probably look like an infinity pool style, where you deposit iKAS on the L2 side only so smart contracts can control and get a ERC20 receipt token, lets say kbiKAS and fees are put into the pool so the revenue is distributed through the ratio of kbiKAS to iKAS. The math should work out the exact same you described.
