Igra Labs’ purpose is to add programmable smart contracts and DeFi to Kaspa by building an EVM-compatible execution layer on top of its BlockDAG proof-of-work network. It positions itself as a way to bring Bitcoin-grade security, censorship resistance, and fast transaction ordering to applications that normally live on Ethereum-like chains.[1][2] ## What it is building Igra says it is creating a decentralized, “based rollup” style layer with no centralized sequencer, so Kaspa miners help sequence transactions while the network stays secure and fast. Its docs also describe the goal as enabling high throughput, low latency, secure bridging, and full EVM compatibility for existing Solidity-based tools and smart contracts.[2][3][4][1] ## Why it exists The main reason is to make Kaspa more useful beyond simple transfers by supporting apps like DEXs, lending, borrowing, and other on-chain services. In short, Igra Labs wants to turn Kaspa into a platform where developers can deploy decentralized applications without giving up decentralization or PoW security.[4][5][6][7] ## One-line version If you want the shortest answer: Igra Labs exists to bring Ethereum-style programmability and DeFi to Kaspa while preserving PoW security and decentralization.[1][4] Sources [1] Igra Labs https://igralabs.com/ [2] Welcome to Igra Network https://igra-labs.gitbook.io/igralabs-docs/welcome [3] Igra Labs https://www.linkedin.com/company/igra-labs [4] Vision - Igra Labs https://igralabs.com/vision [5] Igra Network Opens Public Mainnet Access - Cryptonews.net https://cryptonews.net/news/blockchain/32594054/ [6] KAS for inclusion. $IGRA for execution. - Igra Labs https://igralabs.com/igra-token [7] Igra Fleet https://igralabs.com/ecosystem [8] Right NOW Kaspa NEEDS IgraLabs! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5Ttult9XIw [9] Igra Labs (@Igra_Labs) / Posts / X https://x.com/Igra_Labs [10] An Igra Labs Interview: A Bright Kaspa Future and a Dark ... https://kasmedia.com/article/igra-labs-inter

It was a very interesting observation last night that the audience and speakers on Blockchain Banter were mainly from the Wolfpack! 🐺📈
my take is that group of people are in London and are fairly close to wolfies bar, so that has sort of become a venue for kaspa and kaspa spin off projects

chris hutchinson does have a very good presence on X platform promoting kaspa, i was hoping he would spend some time in telegram groups but you have me so,

Hi, I’m trying to understand the “Gas refunds” field on the Attester Dashboard. My dashboard currently shows approximately 535 iKAS Gas refunds received, but my wallet balance is only about 9.45 iKAS. Could you explain: What exactly does the “Gas refunds” value represent? Are these refunds actually credited to my wallet, or are they only an accounting metric? If they are credited, where can I see the corresponding transactions? Are gas refunds already included in the attester profitability calculation? Thank you.

My attester has five kaswallets configured correctly. Wallet 0 has processed over 3,000 L1 transactions and spent approximately 88 KAS in gas/fees, while wallets 2–4 have processed none because they have no funds. Wallet 1 began creating unsigned transactions after I funded it. Is the RPC workload expected to be distributed across all five wallets, or is it normal for almost all attestations to use wallet 0? If distribution is expected, what configuration controls it?

Quick question: Should all 5 kaswallets be funded and actively processing L1 transactions, or is it normal for Wallet 0 to handle all of the workload? My attester has Wallets 1–4 funded, but Wallet 0 appears to be paying all the L1 transaction fees. Is that expected, or should the workload be distributed across all 5 kaswallets?
