ISIS EXPLOITS THE CHAOS IN SYRIA
As protests and unrest spread across various Syrian cities, ISIS activity is increasing, taking advantage of the state of chaos and the security vacuum, particularly in Deir ez-Zor, Palmyra, and Raqqa.
The most dangerous factor is the presence of individuals who previously belonged to ISIS within the ranks of the new Syrian army, in addition to those released by the Damascus government from prisons, raising serious concerns that the group could exploit the state of chaos to reactivate itself.
