Position Chief Electronic Engineer Start Date 7 September Location Not specified Salary USD $6,300–$6,700 per month × 12 (DOE) Leave 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off Contract Permanent (Rotational) Vessel Details Prestigious luxury vessel. Single cabin provided. 3-stripe officer rank. Responsibilities Lead the onboard Electronic Department. Maintain all electronic, communication, navigation and IT systems. Oversee GMDSS, satellite communications, CCTV, bridge electronics and emergency systems. Support onboard networks, servers, audio-visual and entertainment systems. Manage planned maintenance, spare parts and the AMOS system. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and maritime safety standards. Requirements Candidates must hold an ETO Certificate with High Voltage Certificate, a valid GMDSS/GOC Certificate, all required STCW certifications, and a valid C1/D Visa. A relevant qualification in Electronic or Maritime Engineering is required. Previous experience as a Chief Electronic Engineer within the cruise sector is essential.
