The maps illustrate the main alterations that took place in a city since 1950. Overall, the area experienced significant developments over the period, with expansion of the residential area, addition some facilities like dam, bridge, and introducing new business district, and lake, making the town more accessible and residential. In 1950, there was a business district in the middle of the city with a residential area on the top side. There is also a river near the business area with a bridge crossed the river. While the airport situated in the east side, the government building located next to the bridge. Today, the area underwent considerable improvements. The main change has been enlarging the residential area along the river because of increasing the population. In the north side of the river the lake has been built. Business centre has been added at the lower part of the lake, with a new government building in the south of the map. Other changes included the introduction of bridge and dam on the east side of the lake. Moreover the airport also has been enlarged.
