 Russian propaganda game "Ukrainian Warfare: Gostomel Heroes" glorifying invasion of Ukraine getting global steam release march 31rst russian game studio "cats who play" is releasing "Ukrainian Warfare: Gostomel Heroes" globally march 31rst on steam. in the game you play as the Russian military during the invasion of Ukraine and has been released already in russia and banned in at least ukraine and germany so far. the game portrays itself as the true portrayal of what happened "Through the Eyes of Those Who Fought!" and has you ironically saving Ukrainian civilians and blames ukraine for the war.    some quotes form the steam page  Quote ......Ukraine has been covered in reports and documentary films. This is not a documentary, but it portrays the events of the first days of this war with full seriousness—from the moment of the brilliant Russian airborne assault on the outskirts of Kiev, to the time when the war seemed poised to end with the signing of a draft peace agreement in Istanbul in March 2022......   Witness the Untold Story of 2022 Through the Eyes of Those Who Fought!   i find it interesting how games are now being used as propaganda tools like other forms of media have long been. and i think it could make a interesting topic for gamelinked, especially the moral aspect of what to do when one of these propaganda games is eventually good and fun to play? no idea if this game is any good but eventually someone with the talent and drive to make a good game will take propaganda budget to do so, is that ok? does game linked to tech longers?    anywho Gostomel = Hostomel and a bit as to why the games so ironic.
