 Adobe silently installing additional software, hijacks Windows features (Snipping tool shortcut) Summary Adobe have recently started installing additional software, without user consent, if you already use their Adobe Studio or Express packages. You must "OPT OUT" with a registry key in order to not receive this software package.   Quotes Quote Adobe Express Photos will auto-install on Windows for Acrobat Studio and Acrobat Express users starting early June 2026. To opt out, set a registry key before the next Acrobat update. If it's already installed, uninstall it and then set the key to prevent reinstallation.   My thoughts This is shady to say the least, without explicit consent they are installing additional software, which is unrelated to the package installed (PDF Manager), which then hijacks system functionality. This kind of behaviour should not be allowed or legal (EU). It becomes Malware at a certain point, and really highlights their ability to do what they want with your computer.
