 NVIDIA to drop Windows 10 support from Game Ready Driver in November, security driver update will be available through 2029 Summary NVIDIA has announced that their Game Ready Driver and Studio Driver will drop support for Windows 10 this year. October driver releases will be the last time they'll have support for Windows 10. Game Ready/ Studio Driver starting from November this year will require Windows 11. However, Security Update driver will continue through 2029 for Windows 10.   Quotes Quote NVIDIA will release its final GeForce Game Ready Driver with Windows 10 support in October 2026. Starting in November, new Game Ready Driver releases will no longer support Microsoft’s older operating system. The same schedule applies to NVIDIA Studio Drivers. NVIDIA previously committed to supporting Windows 10 for one year beyond Microsoft’s official end-of-support date, which was October 14, 2025. Windows 10 systems will not immediately lose all NVIDIA driver updates. The company says supported GeForce hardware will transition to quarterly security updates after October 2026. These releases will include critical security fixes and continue through October 2029.     My thoughts concern   Also Windows 11 23H2 is still supported by the way, if you want much stable Windows 11 experience (latest version is 22631.7517. Unless you're a psycho, go ahead, use Linux and NVIDIA). Just get the ISO from UUPDump. Although as someone that uses 10 ESU this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early.
