📊 One of the most misunderstood ideas in Web3 is how network effects are actually created.
Many people assume network effects come from growth.
More users.
More wallets.
More activity.
But network effects are not created by numbers alone.
They are created by relationships between participants.
A large ecosystem with weak connections often struggles to retain value.
A smaller ecosystem with strong connections can compound value surprisingly fast.
Because participation creates more than activity.
It creates:

Over time, these interactions strengthen the network itself.
This is why incentives alone rarely create durable network effects.
Incentives can attract people.
