☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️ Great news, BUT.........................may I call your attention to the final words in the headline........."Federal Payrolls Keep Shrinking." This process SHOULD result in downsizing of state and local governments. But, will it? BUREAUACRATIC growth in local and state government is driven by creation and GROWTH of FEDERAL lettered organizations, who in turn expand RULES and REGULATIONS by ALL! Rs&Rs have ONE and ONLY ONE objective: CONTROL! That's "THE STICK!!" To 'encourage' state and local governments to CREATE COUNTERPARTS, to 'coordinate and implement, those R&Rs, they create and deploy incentives- FUNDING! State and local governments are led to believe, OR in order to grab 'their fair share', they bill it to the public as "FREE MONEY"! THAT'S THE CARROT! Who can turn down FREE MONEY? Apparently, no one! State and local governments create new, or expand existing bureaucracies to IMPLEMENT NEW R&Rs. In a phrase, that's bureaucratic bloat! Then, the HOOK arrives! CONTROL ! More and more control, which is infringement on OUR FREEDOM! NO, not singular. FREEDOMS- all of them. One at a time the federal government uses the CARROT to impede or dissolve the CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED, INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS OF THEIR CITIZENS- WE THE PEOPLE! Oh I should've mentioned. Simultaneously the carrot shrinks, too! FREE money disappears. BUT, the need for the money doesn't. what becomes the source of money? YOU and I,, especially home owners! That's how bureaucracy grows. And, it's how local taxpayers get a ROYAL SCREW job, especially property and home owners1 The reverse of growth is shrinkage. If the federal government is shrinking, shouldn't it trickle down to state and local governments too? It SHOULD, but, no way! It doesn't shrink. Why? Once created bureaucrats PRIMARY function is to justify itself! Truly, it can't...............but, it does. It has the motive and it has the resources- people and money- to wage continuous propaganda campaigns in EVERY available media outlet, including the GRAPEVINE! How can this circle of control be broken? At the polls with your vote! Oh, how stupid of me. I'd forgotten. As long as THE MACHINES remain in place, votes we cast don't ELECT our choices! Winners of races are SELECTED by those who control THE MACHINES!............................THE REAL BOTTOM LINE? WE'RE SCREWED! (At 79, I won't exist in this circumstance much longer, but MY KIDS AND MY GRANDKIDS WILL! GEN X'ers CONTROL GOVERNMENT NOW! (That's the generation we Baby Boomers created.) But, they're all reaching retirement age. VERY SOON. The generation they produced- our grandkids, millenials will be THE POWER STRUCTURE soon! They've been thoroughly indoctrinated with a left leaning, that SUPPORTS the bureaucratic form of government control.............and intrusion on their own freedoms! The FUTURE? Depends. If succeeding generations recognize their REAL situation and value their freedoms- they'll protect them! If they don't, they won't! The USA- the greatest example of a self-governing people, will die!
