No one's actually been huffing about it, just got annoyed at those who commented in the beginning spouting what amounts to "well If you think about it, they're kinda white themselves".
It's like, no, why can't it just be bad and they still not be us. Why does empathy have to see people immediately start to flirt with ceding basic ideological presuppositions?
