I am writing to report a serious issue that I have been experiencing on Telegram for approximately one year. Over the past few months, the problem has become significantly worse and now affects my daily business communication. On the Android version of Telegram, many conversations do not appear in the main chat list, even when new messages arrive. Instead, my chat list often shows conversations from five or six months ago. However, if I manually search for a person's name, the chat opens immediately, and all new messages are there. So the messages are not deleted; they are simply not displayed correctly in the chat list on Android. For context, my account is a heavy usage account. I'm a Telegram Premium subscriber with business features enabled, around 13 to 14 chat folders, about one thousand contacts, two hundred fifty channels, forty bots, and approximately five hundred to six hundred conversations with non-contacts. I have tested my account on multiple Android devices, including a Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and an older Samsung Galaxy phone, and the exact same issue occurs on both. Telegram Desktop on Windows works perfectly, and I have never seen this behavior there, so the issue appears to be specific to the Android client. This has become critical for me because I rely on Telegram for business and I often miss new messages since they never appear in the chat list unless I manually search for each name.
