Re: my vJunos router working scenario….
Yes, there are some underlying requirements.( sorry about that I forgot to mention details)
First, yeah the vJunos switch needs to be working because I run the router image file based on the vJunos switching naming/folder.
To get the vJunos switch up and running:
1./ I am using Pnet v6.
2./ I am running Pnet6 on bare metal (directly installed on my Intel NUC10).
3./ Place the template file (for the vJunos switch) in /opt/unetlab/html/templates/.
4./ Make sure the qemu version is working with 5.2.0 install it if necessary (apt install libsdl2-2.0-0)
That’s how I’ve set it up in my environment. Justto let you know, I never tested it in a VM or Vmware workstation environment.
You can refer to the picture I posted yesterday. The juniper switch version is 23.4.. I believe their images are free to download from their portal.
I hope this helps or at least gives you some idea of the requirements.
