The core joke
Michael Saylor → “Saylor Moon”
$SAYLORMOON

Elon Musk reportedly called Michael Saylor “Saylor Moon” during their Bitcoin/Twitter-era interactions. That became the meme: take the ultra-serious Bitcoin maximalist Michael Saylor and turn him into Sailor Moon.
Then the crypto lore becomes:
Michael Saylor = Sailor Moon
→ Sailor Scouts
→ but they’re Bitcoin/crypto soldiers
→ their enemy is FUD + jeets
→ their weapon is Bitcoin
→ Saylor keeps buying BTC
→ “to the moon” becomes literal
→ Saylor Moon
One current Saylor Moon project describes him as the leader of the “Sailor Scouts of Crypto,” wielding a Bitcoin-powered “Moon Scepter” against FUD and jeets.
Why this can work as a meme coin
The meme isn’t really Sailor Moon alone. It’s the collision of three extremely recognizable things:
Sailor Moon × Michael Saylor × Bitcoin
That’s much stronger than just launching another anime coin.
