sorry, can anyone give me some directions to install this rom?
      1. G
        Gramouur
I've read it but it says you have to use a computer, what if you go straight through custom recovery?
        1. A
          Ale
If you have sdcard, then you can use PixelOS recovery directly
              1. G
                Gramouur
okay, then after I install pixelos recovery, do I need to install firmware or whatever first?
                1. A
                  Ale
Yes. Firmware > Kernel (It needs to support PixelOS) > ROM
                  1. G
                    Gramouur
Where can I get the firmware? Then for the recovery file, is it .img enough for me to replace it with .zip?
                      1. G
                        Gramouur
Currently I am using Orangefox recovery, to change it to Pixelos recovery do I have to use a computer?
                          1. G
                            Gramouur
I've forgotten how to install recovery via computer😭
                            1. A
                              Ale
Follow instructions. It also explains recovery installation

                        OG_Jhay
Since I'm on A16 pixelOS with pixel recovery, how do you reckon I proceed to flash the pixelOS A17 on my device?
                  3. .
                    .
do you mean the kernel has to support pixel os? does that mean a specific kernel, not one for aosp?
                    1. A
                      Ale
Yeah. Other kernels can cause bugs

Has anyone here experienced issues where the power button doesn't respond when long-pressed, even though it's set to turn on the flashlight or open the power-off menu? (I performed a clean flash following the instructions on the official POS website). This doesn't happen to me on other roms I used 😕

been using this rom since release and dirty flashed over 16.2. It has been flawless for the most part, but there were 2 times where apps were not able to launch properly. I first noticed it with Chrome where it would just get stuck at the launch screen. Tried a few other apps and it would basically do the same thing. Restarting the device solved the issue both times. Anyone else have this happen to them?

Did you dirty flash or clean flash? Maybe I'll try doing a clean flash
