It’s a high-availability solution for Oracle DB. ⭕ Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) allow customers to run a single Oracle Database across multiple servers in order to maximize availability and enable scalability. ⭕ Customers can standardize across their Oracle Database environments by using Oracle RAC in Oracle Cloud. ⭕ Oracle RAC allows customers to easily scale analytics workloads by eliminating the need for replica databases and database-level conflict resolution ⭕ In Oracle, there are multiple database deployment options like Bare Metal Server, VM, Exadata Cloud service & Exadata Cloud@Customer. Here Exadata cloud service & Exadata Cloud@Customer come with a default RAC option where you have a minimum of 2 nodes and can be extended depending on the server selected.
