I’m currently working on a DR drill activity where I need to take a database backup from an on-prem MySQL server (Server A), transfer it to another server (DR/B server), and restore it there so that the application can switch over in case the primary server goes down. I understand the basic commands, but since this is part of a DR drill, I want to make sure I follow the correct and safe approach end-to-end. Could you please guide me on the proper steps or best practices for this process? Any practical tips or real-world insights would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
