☕️ HOW TO DRINK COFFEE ACCORDING TO YOUR BODY TYPE
🌬 VATA — Thin, dry, cold, easily depleted
Coffee's dry + light + heating + stimulating qualities can aggravate Vata.
Better option: ☕️ Warm coffee + milk + 1 tsp fat + sweet as per taste
You can add a little ghee or another nourishing component if it suits you.
Especially during cold weather, avoid making it an extremely drying drink.
Avoid: large amounts of black coffee on an empty stomach.
🔥 PITTA — Naturally hot, intense, prone to overheating
Coffee is already heating and sharp, so strong black coffee may be too stimulating.
Better option: ☕️ Cold Coffee with milk + sweetness
If sweetness suits you, a small amount of natural sweetener can make the drink less harsh than strong black coffee.
Avoid: very strong, very hot black coffee, especially in hot weather or when you're already experiencing excessive heat/acidity.
🌿 KAPHA — Heavy, sluggish, cold, lethargic
This is where coffee's light, sharp, heating and stimulating qualities may be most compatible.
Better option: ☕️ Hot Black coffee + optional MCT oil
No milk and sugar means you aren't adding as much heaviness.
This can be particularly appealing for someone who feels sluggish, heavy or cold limbs.
